Sora was able to come to our place by himself the first time last Friday since he got his driver’s license. It was great to see him again. I met Sora in 2004 and have been his friend since. He is from the people group called Oromo – the largest people group in Ethiopia and about 8 years ago he fled to Kenya due to the civic war and had spent three years in a UN refugee camp before his arrival to Australia. It is truly a miracle to see where Sora is now considering how he survived from the refugee camp.

This was taken right before the evening service. The musicians were having their last minute practice and Steven – the preacher in red and white was meditating. The open area right in front of my camera is the area for parents with young children. 10 minutes before the service started, it was still pretty quite.
