Allan, Christine & C.J. live in a very quiet suburb in the south part of Sydney. Allan is working at Hurstville Presbyterian Church. We are working with a team of great people to reach the ever changing diversified multi-cultural Hurstville community.

Farcountry: Being a Chinese who has lived in several countries, I hardly know where my home is now. However, what comforts me is that I do know I have an eternal home – where God is. In Hebrews 11:14-16, it says, “People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country – a heavenly one. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.” Praise God that having God in my life I’m so content even while I am still living at a farcountry. Knowing there is the Creator, I am able to appreciate lots of things as they are designed perfectly by God. I am especially fascinated by different cultures and people groups all over the world. Many friends of mine have moved overseas after college. Reading their blogs is definitely a wonderful experience to taste the diversities of this world. So I hope this blog can be a cultural spot where you can enjoy some amazing cultural experiences. Besides this, you will also find my photos, thoughts, sermons and other bits and pieces.
